At My Family Dental, we believe that good oral health habits start early, which is why we recommend you bring in your children from around 2 years old. Children who get used to visiting the dentist as kids sometimes to grow into adults who continue to see their dentist regularly. With the governments Child Dental Benefits Scheme (CDBS) Eligible children will have access to a benefit cap of $1,000 over a two calendar year period.
To be eligible a child must be aged between 2-17 years and their family must receive Family Tax Benefit Part A or a relevant Australian Government payment.
Families can check whether their child is eligible for the CDBS by contacting the Department of Human Services. or by contacting us in at the practice and we can check your eligibility.
